Navision 4 and Dynamics NAV 5 Reference Manuals

Navision 4 and Dynamics NAV 5 reference manuals are hard-copy (bound or looseleaf books) that you can use to look up how to do different things in Navision version 4.0 through 4.3, and Dynamics NAV version 5.0 and 5.1.

Note that there are relatively few manuals specifically for version 5.x of Navision, but in general (with the notable exception of jobs) the Navision 4 manuals can and should be used for Navision 5 as well.

Reference manuals are available in the following general categories:

These Navision reference manuals are the same manuals used in Navision 4 .x or Dynamics NAV 5 .x instructor-led classroom training. If you take one of these instructor-led classes the student version of the book will be provided.

Many people purchase the instructor version of these manuals to give themselves a 'self-study' version of the classes without taking the class, or simply to use as a reference when questions come up. The instructor version contains significant helpful material not included in the student version, so unless you're simply replacing a copy of the student manual that you've lost, you're probably better off with the instructor's version.

Manuals are also available for Navision 2009.
